Gokaldham Centre Hire – Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Can I book a wedding or bhajans event inside the main Temple? 

The centre part of the Temple can be booked but note that the Temple will remain open for darshan for our devotees and visitors during normal opening hours. Maximum 150 guests will be allowed, and complete silence must be maintained in the Temple. Please contact us for more details.

How do I check availability and confirm a Booking?
Please fill out the Online Booking Request form and submit with your full event and contact details. We will contact you to confirm availability and to arrange for you to pay a deposit to secure your booking.

What is the minimum and maximum durations & capacity for a Booking?
Hire period is 8 hours for Ramanbhai Gokal Hall (maximum 300 guests with Dining Hall included), which can be extended for a charge dependent on event and set up requirements. The Hire Time for the Upstairs & Kailesh halls is minimum 5 hours (maximum capacity 70 to 80 guests). Main Dining Hall capacity is maximum 150 guests.

Do you allow alcohol & non-vegetarian food on site?
We do not allow any alcohol or non-vegetarian food on site. Smoking is not permitted on the Temple grounds.

Do I need to have a Caretaker and Security/ Parking staff?
We can provide a customised package solution for your hire to include setup, parking and use of the various halls / rooms as you require.

Can you arrange for setup before the event?
The premises to be used will be provided clean and tidy, with the Stage set up as required. The premises will be opened and light controls shown to the Hirer by the SVNUK Caretaker. Setup can be done to a pre agreed plan for you at a cost.
